La Maison des Canuts is a living museum
that reveals the richness and quality of Lyon silk industry.
During the guided tour you'll find out about:
The invention of 'Jacquard' with a weaving
demonstration on a manual loom, the hidtory of silk, the life of the 'canuts' (weavers) and how the regional textile industry is evolving in the 21st century.
Daily guidie tours at 11a.m and 3 :30 p.m.
We offer two guided tours a day for visitors and can accomodate group tours with prior reservation.
Individual fair : 6.00 € adults - 3.00 students
Free for children under 12.
Tarif groupe : 5.00 € adultes - 2.50 scolaires.
