The Maison des Canuts is a living museum that reveals the richness and quality of Lyon’s silk industry.
During the guided tour you will find out more about the invention of 'Jacquard' with a weaving demonstration on a manual loom, the history of silk, the life of the 'canuts' (weavers) and how the regional textile industry has evolved since the late 20th century.
Daily guided tours at 11:00 and 15:30 for individuals.
We offer two guided tours a day for visitors and can accomodate group tours with prior reservation.
Individuals: 6.00 € adults - 3.00 € students
Free for children under 12.
Groups should contact us to book in advance for guided tours.
Groups: 5.00 € adults - 2.50 € students.
